Three. Compete as a delegate on a JMCC team; run the program as a member of the Executive Committee; or support delegates as a coach or volunteer. Delegate recruitment happens each fall, executive recruitment each spring, and coaches and volunteers are welcome year-round.

You apply, interview, and earn your spot on a competition team. Selected delegates are then matched to a discipline and start training with their team.

The program is built to train you. Delegates prepare for months with more than ninety external coaches: professors, alumni and industry professionals who run practice cases, mock presentations and feedback sessions. Every wolf in the pack started with one application.

Academic sport. Teams of students are handed a real business problem, a few hours to crack it, and a panel of industry judges to convince. Delegates train for months to think faster, present sharper, and perform under pressure.

Delegates prepare for months before their competition, through practice cases, mock presentations, and coaching sessions with their team. By the time a team walks into a competition room, they have already solved dozens of cases under pressure. Exact schedules vary by discipline and competition, and your team lead will set expectations when you are selected.

It can. Delegations travel to regional competitions across Quebec, to national competitions, and to international ones. Our delegates have competed in more than fourteen countries. JMCC handles logistics and travel so delegates can focus on performing.

More than ninety external coaches run practice cases, mock presentations, and feedback sessions. Behind the scenes, JMCC handles selection, training, coaching, logistics and travel. The whole point is that delegates only have to focus on the case.

No. Alumni and industry professionals coach disciplines, judge practice rounds, and mentor teams. JMCC is a community of delegates, executives, coaches and alumni, and the network tends to outlast graduation.
